A little about our home…
Chez Miaou hosts 2 to 3 pet families at a time. For some species, only one family at a time is permitted, as careful consideration is given to prevent the spread of disease.
The forced air furnace is equipped with a HEPA filter and the living spaces have additional portable HEPA air purifiers
Pets stay in rooms that receive natural indirect light
In the event of a power outage, the home has a backup generator to provide heating
I do not have a cat or dog, but I do have four guinea pigs and two respectful school-aged children
Non-smoking home
Depending on the species, some pets will have many inclusions supplied, while others may require their own belongings.
All pets will receive
- Daily enrichment provided through attention, novel toys, treats, supervised free roam
- Daily spot-cleaning of enclosure
- Complete cage cleaning as often as appropriate for species
- Rinse and refill water bottles or bowls daily
- Replenish food according to client instructions
- Monitoring of health & behavior
- Grooming or hygiene (brushing, sand baths, etc.)
- Medicating if required
- Daily updates & weekly journals
**No ferrets for the safety of my rabbit & small animal boarders, but I would love to care for them in their own home!
