Hello! I’m Jessica, the owner and founder of Chez Miaou. Caring for animals has always been my calling, and that passion led me into the field of veterinary medicine. I earned my degree in Veterinary Technology and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician, later completing an additional two years of advanced training to become one of the first Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS) in Canine and Feline Medicine in North America.
Over the course of my 20-year career, I’ve worked in some of the top veterinary ICU and emergency hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to my clinical work, I’ve dedicated hundreds of volunteer hours to supporting local animal rescue organizations.
Having recently retired from veterinary medicine, my devotion for helping animals and their people continues. I founded Chez Miaou to fulfill my deep need of caring for animals and to offer expert service to pet families. I am professional, trustworthy, hardworking, and most of all highly skilled at caring for animals. I have a special fondness for senior pets and quirky animals. I am very comfortable and knowledgeable attending to pets of all species and their medical needs.
